Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Incident Investigation is an intermediate-level course which complements foundational Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC) training. Learners will be guided through how to prepare for and participate in the incident investigation process, including developing corrective actions and implementing a follow-up plan.
This course combines both theory and practical activities to facilitate learning. Supporting legislation and contractual requirements will also be explored. This course is taken following JOHSC Basics or JOHSC Essentials Courses.
Course Format
This course includes.
- Live session: Virtual session designed for interactive learning.
- Online resources: Practical tools and reference materials to help participants implement what they’ve learned and share knowledge with their coworkers.
Note: There are no pre-course preparation requirements. All materials are provided as references for use during and after the live session.

3. Completion of BCNU Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee Basics Course or BCNU Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee Essentials Course
